During two days we shared information and debated about preparation techniques to make crowns on natural teeth. We addressed the different dental preparation philosophies, those with vertical control and the new BOPT vertical techniques. We practiced working positions on training models, a variety of preparation techniques and impression-taking with new materials following D91 protocol. The work method we have developed ensures predictability and excellent results regarding the laboratory and the final outcome.

Today we finished the third edition of our modular Esthetic Dentistry workshops. Module 6: Clinic-laboratory interrelation. We addressed problems with color, articulator handling and intermaxillary records. We spoke about the centric relationship, wax bite usage, occlusal parameters in teeth and implants, vacuum forming plastic materials, new techniques, new trends, digital innovations and new materials.

We discussed multidisciplinary cases of high esthetic demand where the clinic and laboratory had to work closely together to ensure an optimal result.
