ESTHETIC DIAGNOSIS. SMILE DESIGN. TREATMENT PLAN AND WAX-UP APPLIED TO CLINICAL PRACTICE

The objective of this workshop is to learn, in a fun and entertaining way, to manage and optimize the handling of wax to create the basic anatomy of anterior teeth. With this workshop you will become familiar with a laboratory material that has many uses in the practice of esthetic dentistry and is essential in achieving a proper anatomical result of future restorations. If you want to make good composites, you have to learn the anatomy of the mouth beforehand by practicing with wax.

PREPARATION AND IMPRESSION-TAKING ON FIXED PROSTHESIS ON NATURAL TEETH

In this practical module you will have an excellent opportunity to see the best techniques of tooth preparation and impression-taking; how to handle the most commonly-used materials; using cords: why, which ones, when and how; and we will tell you how to «read» an impression to decide for yourself if it is suitable or not for the type of work that you are going to order from your laboratory. We will talk about vertical preparation techniques, BOPT and modified BOPT; we will show clinical cases and explain the differences from conventional techniques. You will learn everything by applying it in a hands-on workshop.

PROVISIONAL RESTORATIONS ON NATURAL TEETH

Do you know how to make a simple, fast and well-fitting provisional restoration? Do you know how to do it following a protocol? Do you know how to properly polish it? Do you know how to integrate it into the patient’s smile in an esthetically-pleasing way? Can you manage to fit it well with the occlusion? If you answered no to any of these questions, this module will be your solution. Without applying advanced knowledge about prosthesis, we will give you tricks to resolve these problems very practically and directly. Work your hands with us to get successful results.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE DENTISTRY. CERAMIC VENEERS

Unlike other workshops, this one approaches the topic from a clinical and laboratory perspective simultaneously. Our instructors include both a clinician and technician, so you will be exposed to all the necessary knowledge to face even the most esthetically demanding cases with the ability to sacrifice the least amount of dental tissue possible.

IMPLANTS IN THE ESTHETIC ZONE. PROVISIONAL RESTORATIONS.

During this workshop you will see the importance of making a good provisional restoration for implants in the anterior zone, and we will show you step-by-step what you have to do to achieve it and to initially manipulate the tissue that surrounds it, which is key for an optimal esthetic result. Even if you do not place implants, even if you do not rehabilitate them yet, this is a workshop that can help you understand much of what is now demanded by our patients, which you can integrate into your daily practice.

CLINIC-LABORATORY INTERRELATION. KEY COMPONENTS.

In this module we will teach you to protocolize information from the clinic with that of the laboratory, shade matching, and the importance of articulator mounting using esthetic parameters. We will go into details about the most common lab work for us. We will reveal the secrets to making a perfect model, all the lab tricks that dental technicians use daily, and we will teach you how to make an excellent essix retainer and a whitening tray. It seems easy, we can all do it, but in the laboratory they do it much better. Learn from them and reach the same level.
